General description

The Sennheiser AVX-ME2 SET is a digital wireless system from the AVX series with an ultra-compact receiver, pocket transmitter, and ME 2 lavalier microphone. It self-configures and is ready to record in a matter of seconds.

The receiver connects directly to the XLR input of the camera or recording device, and the system adjusts its sensitivity to match the audio input without having to set the microphone level. The ME 2 is ideal for hands-free interviews and documentaries.

Workflow and connectivity

The receiver outputs audio via XLR to the camera or recorder input and, with DSLRs, uses the XLR-to-3.5 mm cable. The system automatically manages frequencies and sensitivity.
