General description

The Phottix Raja Deep Octa 80 cm window is an 80 cm deep octa softbox from the Raja family. It is the 80 cm version of the Raja deep octa, aimed at portrait and children's photography.

It opens like an umbrella and is ready in a few seconds. It combines an internal reflector and an external diffuser, with a honeycomb included, to shape the light from a studio flash, and folds into a bag for easy transport.
Modular design and compatibility
  • Studio lights with Bowens mount, using the included S Bowens mount.
  • Profoto lights, with the Profoto adapter for 144 mm Raja windows (P82588), sold separately.
  • Elinchrom lights, with the Elinchrom adapter for Raja windows (P82584), sold separately and included in this model's data sheet.
  • Interchangeable speed rings within the Raja series.
Workflow and connectivity

The S Bowens mount attaches to a studio light with a compatible mount. The window is then opened like an umbrella, and the internal reflector and external diffuser are attached. If more directional light is desired, the Velcro honeycomb grid is also added.

To use with other mounts, replace the ring with an adapter from the Raja series. When finished, the window folds up and is stored in its carrying bag.
