General description

The Phottix Raja 80 x 120 cm window is an 80 x 120 cm rectangular softbox from the Raja family. According to its data sheet, it is the most versatile rectangular window in the series, useful both in the studio and outdoors.

It opens like an umbrella and is ready in a few seconds. It combines an internal reflector and an external diffuser, with a honeycomb included, to shape the light from a studio flash, and folds into a bag for easy transport.
Modular design and compatibility
  • Studio lights with Bowens mount, using the included S Bowens mount.
  • Profoto lights, with the Profoto adapter for 144 mm Raja windows (P82588), which is sold separately.
  • The Elinchrom adapter for Raja windows (P82584) does not include this size in its compatibility list; it is advisable to check it before purchasing.
  • Interchangeable speed rings within the Raja series.
Workflow and connectivity

The S Bowens mount attaches to a studio light with a compatible mount. The window then opens like an umbrella, and the inner baffle and outer diffuser are attached. If more directional light is desired, the Velcro honeycomb grid is also added.

To use with other mounts, replace the ring with a Raja series adapter. When finished, the window folds up and is stored in its carrying bag.
