General description

Kodak T-Max 100 is a low-sensitivity black-and-white negative film designed to capture detail and sharpness. This version comes in 135 format, the 35 mm cartridge, with 36 exposures per roll.

Kodak presents it as the world's finest-grained 100 ISO black-and-white film, with exceptionally high resolution that is ideal for large-format enlargements.

Modular design and compatibility
  • 35 mm film cameras that use 135 film.
  • Developed using black-and-white film chemicals (it is not color film).
Workflow and connectivity

The 135 cartridge is loaded into a 35 mm camera, shot at ISO 100 until all 36 exposures are used, and developed using black-and-white chemicals, either in an in-house or external laboratory.

The negatives can be enlarged in a darkroom or scanned for later editing. Its low sensitivity makes it more suitable for abundant light or with a stable tripod.

Recommended applications
  • Black-and-white photography using 35 mm film cameras.
  • Highly detailed portrait and studio photography.
  • Landscape and architectural photography using abundant light or a tripod.
  • Large-format enlargements made in the darkroom.
  • Analog fine art and documentary photography projects.
