General description

The Genelec 8030C is an active two-way studio monitor for music production and post-production. Among these three alternatives, it offers the greatest bass extension and sound pressure level, while maintaining a desktop format.

Its DCW waveguide and MDE low-diffraction enclosure contribute to a defined listening experience. The response controls and Iso-Pod base help adapt the setup to the working position.
Modular design and compatibility

Workflow and connectivity

In an editing or mixing setup, send the monitor output from the interface or console to the XLR input of the Genelec 8030C. For stereo, connect each channel to its own monitor and power both units.

Aim the monitors toward the listening position using the Iso-Pod stand and adjust their response controls according to the placement. The built-in amplification reproduces the received signal without an external power amplifier.
