General description

The new Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2 is a high-end model designed for broadcasting via traditional media or the Internet. Its design allows it to be used as a 6K digital cinema camera or in studios and productions in 4K resolution. In addition, it supports a wide variety of lenses and batteries, and offers the opportunity to record on SD cards, UHS-II, CFast 2.0, or external drives, in common formats such as H.265, ProRes, and Blackmagic RAW.

The URSA Broadcast G2 model is ideal for broadcasters, as it includes controls located on the side of the unit for easy access, and a light sensor that allows for capturing extraordinary images in natural light. These features facilitate the broadcasting of news and other programs.
