General description

The DeckLink Quad 2 model combines 8 SDI capture and playback channels on a single card. This new version is fully backward compatible and also includes 4 additional channels that give any programmer the ability to configure the connections to function as inputs or outputs.

In this way, each of the 8 BNC connectors can be used independently as a capture or playback channel for SD or HD signals with a maximum resolution of 1080p60.

Workflow and connectivity

It connects to the computer via PCIe x8. The incoming signal is selected in the capture software. The program sends the video output to the monitoring or production equipment. The format and driver must be compatible with the application.
